Diet and Nutrition

Our registered dietitian provides individualized meal plans with the goal of keeping blood glucose levels in target ranges both before and after meals. General nutrition and carb-counting classes are also offered in group settings.

Our training in nutrition covers a variety of topics including, carbohydrate counting, understanding labels, measuring food, eating out, fats, sweets, and proteins, and gluten-free diets

The results of healthy food choices and more stable BG levels for the person with diabetes or pre-diabetes are life-altering and can include preventing or delaying other complications caused by diabetes, lowering the risk for heart disease and stroke, losing weight if needed, and an increased overall feeling of well-being.

We help clients make the necessary lifestyle changes to reach their nutritional goals.
